Belmayne, an independent firm of chartered financial planners based in Dronfield, has been included for the first time in the FT Adviser Top 50 Boutique Financial Advisers list, a UK-wide ranking that looks at service levels and value for money. The firm announced the listing on 7 October 2026.

The ranking is built from Financial Clarity data from ISS Market Intelligence. It looks at measures including how long a firm has been in business, whether it holds chartered or accredited status, and its financial performance, and uses them to judge how firms are trying to do the right thing by clients.

Growth behind the listing

Belmayne said the listing follows a period of rapid growth in which it has recruited experienced and trainee planners. It is also investing in technology and its working environment, which it says is intended to keep standards of client care high as the firm expands.

Martin Birch, managing partner of Belmayne, said: “It is a pleasure to be recognised by our profession as a leading financial planning firm. It reflects the team’s hard work and our continued commitment to producing exceptional outcomes for clients. We have ambitious plans in place for the future and I’m confident our success will continue to gather momentum.”
